Supply Chain Update

Update from our shipping company:

COVID issues in recent weeks at the Southern China port of Yantian has started to have wider spread delays in supply chains and ports across Asia, with carriers adjusting their scheduled plans at short notice almost daily.

Maersk are reporting additional berths expected to open in Yantian this coming week, taking productivity back to around 45% of normal levels, however suggest the delay on schedules could be impacted by as much as 16 days.

Carriers are seeing a steady flow of vessels passing through the ports but with increased restrictions on operations the inevitable queues and delays are starting to mount up.

It's worth noting that although not listed, other ports will likely suffer repercussions as carriers seek to adjust their network and schedules to avoid prolonged congestion and delays.

We continue to monitor the situation daily and will advise of any shipments identified with updated departure and arrival details, where available.
