PTC elements are used as a heating source in air heaters, drying units and compartment heaters for cars, trains and various other applications.

PTC elements consist of PTC thermistors and aluminium strips put together by brazing or glueing. They can be mounted in a frame of heat resistant plastic or built-in in a specific application.

The element automatically adjusts its power consumption until it reaches the pre-set desired temperature (curie temp). Thanks to its self-regulating properties, the same element can be used both for air- and water heating without any risk of over heating.

We also offer a standard range of PTC 12 mm as well as custom made products.
